Our staff loved it, as did the locals, as it was a fun day of us dressing up with the community to support a good cause. The Forgotten Cask, being a rum bar, helped add to the theme and was something we had some fun with while helping raising money and awareness. We put on drink/food specials and charity boxes on the bar. We will definitely be involved again next year! So join in and have some fun

It was fun to be pirates for the day and make children aware of those less fortunate than themselves.

We had a fantastic time! The children learned about brain cancer, which was great as we had many parents asking about the reason for the day. We played pirate games, ate pirate food and held a treasure hunt with winning ‘booty’. We all had a great time and are planning on wearing an eye patch on Pirate Day Friday every year.

Our Pirate Day went really well. We actually went over a whole week where we carried out lunchtime activities that involved different sections of the school. We also had a sausage sizzle day and received over $200 in donations.
